Designed to Support Repeated Language Practice
These farm-themed prepositions activities have been intentionally designed to provide children with multiple opportunities to hear and use the target spatial concepts.
The activities use consistent imagery, with a cow as the main character and a limited selection of other objects.
This helps keep the focus on spatial relationships rather than requiring children to learn lots of unfamiliar vocabulary at the same time.
You can also reduce the number of objects presented in selected activities to suit individual learning needs.
The design draws on research exploring how variability in language input can influence preposition learning in preschool children.

Ways to Use These Farm Prepositions Activities
Use the stimulus cards for identifying and describing spatial relationships, the interactive book for repeated sentence practice, and the clip cards for receptive language activities.
