I am extremely passionate about early intervention, and in late summer 2019 I came to the realisation that we Early Intervention SLPs needed our own event! We needed something that celebrates the love we all have for this area of Speech Therapy! So, I gathered together 7 of my early intervention SLP friends and started #TheBigEIEvent.
What is The Big EI Event?
The Big EI Event is a free early intervention event, hosted by SLPs, for SLPs. We took over Instagram for eight days to give YOU new therapy ideas, and to pass on the latest evidence-based practice within early intervention. We also wanted to introduce you to the thousands of other EI therapists out there, so together, we can all succeed. It was awesome. We covered a range of topics related to early intervention throughout the week:
