Articulation Games for Speech Therapy | Tic Tac Toe Bundle

$6.50

Are you looking for a game that helps students practice their speech sounds in single words and phrases, which is fun and engaging, and that can be used in face-to-face therapy sessions and teletherapy sessions?!

Articulation Tic Tac Toe might just be what you’re looking for! The Tic Tac Toe boards are ready to print and go (you can cut them apart and laminate if you want to) or ready to load onto your teletherapy platform. They come with color and black and white versions, so they’re great if you’re low on ink too!

The regular bundle price is $30 and saves you just over 25% by buying the bundle (compared to buying all packs individually which would be $40.90)

This huge bundle contains:

No prep ‘Tic Tac Toe’ game boards for all speech sounds:

These games are perfect for:

  • Face-to-face therapy sessions: print and use in your sessions; see the extension activity pack for ideas of how to use these pages in multiple ways.
  • Teletherapy sessions: load onto your teletherapy platform and annotate; add shapes to cover the images as you practice them.
  • Distance learning: send a page of activity ideas and a page of speech sounds home for practice.

Contents

In each set there are 2 boards for each position- initial, medial and final, (where possible). Both color & black and white boards are provided.

There is no preparation required; just print and go (cut the pages in half to separate the two boards if desired). The boards can also be laminated for durability.

Game Play

The game is played like ‘Tic Tac Toe’. Players take it in turns to choose one word from the board, they have to say the word correctly 3 times, then they can cover the picture up using either a counter or a O/X mark. The winner is the first person to get three pictures joined in a row, either vertically, horizontally or diagonally.

How I use it in face-to-face sessions

I have all the colored pages laminated- we play tic tac toe as described above, with either dry erase markers or counters.

For the black and white version, I like to get children to say the words and color in the pictures first, then we play the tic tac toe game as described above, but I usually use counters so they don’t draw on the black and white version, and they can then take it home as homework!

The bundle comes with an exclusive additional document with over 20 ideas for different ways to use the activities in your sessions!

How to use in Teletherapy/for Distance Learning

Use the screen share option so your student can see the images too.

Take it in turns to name the pictures (use the additional activity pages for ideas of how to get multiple repetitions!).

Use the annotate feature to add shapes and cover up the images as you name them.
